Something I read today for Devotions...

This is from the Letter that came out in 2008 called "Refuse Condemnation"
I know that I feel like this at times, but after reading this. My eyes are opened a bit more to the limitless love Jesus has for us.

(Jesus speaking)~
  6. "I died for your sins, so why are you dying for them?" (Mama:) It's like dying when you're feeling condemned, isn't it? It's like a daily dying of your spirit.

   7. "Come on, My dear one, you're not supposed to suffer for those things. That was My job, and I did it once and for all. You have My forgiveness, and your sins are blotted out. It won't do you any good to dwell on them and wish and wish you hadn't done whatever it was. You can't change what you did, but you can change what you're doing now. You're sinning now by not accepting My forgiveness. You can choose to stop sinning now by refusing to be condemned. Do us both a big favor and drop the guilt.
   8. "My mercy is like a cool, beautiful, pristine, crystal-clear stream that you can immerse yourself in to be cleansed and to remove any vestiges of guilt or condemnation that have entered into you or clung to you. Condemnation has no power over you when you let yourself go and immerse yourself in the powerful, cleansing waters of My mercy.
   9. "The only part you have to do is to put forth the effort, to manifest your faith by walking into the stream and immersing yourself. Then the cleansing waters of My Spirit will do the rest. All you have to do is relax, let yourself go, and float. Let the waters of My mercy hold you up and envelop you and gently cradle you, bringing you total peace and rest and freedom from any thoughts or feelings of guilt, remorse, or condemnation.
  10. "You now only feel total love as I envelop you, an overwhelming gratitude for this tremendous freedom that I have given you from the burdens that you were carrying. It's like immersing yourself in the cleansing and renewing waters of the River of Life here in Heaven, where all that is not of Me is washed away, and you're cleansed, refreshed, made new, and filled with an overwhelming feeling of total love and peace."
   11. "Whenever you're tempted to feel overcome by the burdens and weights of guilt, remorse, and condemnation, look into My face. Look at Me as I was when I was crucified for you. Look at the wounds in My hands and feet, pierced and torn for you. Look at My blood-soaked back and the gaping lacerations from the whips. Look at the cuts and bruises on My face and brow from having been smitten and beaten for you. Look at My heart, which was broken for you. Now look into My eyes and see the great love and mercy I have for you.
  12. "Would you have all that I suffered and gave for you counted as nothing? I know you wouldn't have it so. But that's what you do if you carry the burden of guilt and condemnation yourself, and insist on suffering for your sins yourself. You're belittling and even denying what I've already done for you, how I suffered so greatly for you. I gave Myself for you so that you could be free from these weights, and come to My arms and receive My precious, priceless, unconditional love for you."
  13. "Let Me take away your feelings and burden of guilt and condemnation, and make you a child in My arms in every sense of the word. You become totally dependent upon Me for everything. You allow yourself to be as nothing, like a helpless little babe or child who can do nothing for himself, but must be cared for, nurtured and fed, loved and instructed, provided for, picked up and held and comforted when he falls or does the wrong thing; prayed for, encouraged, shown the way to go; inspired, made to laugh, and have the tears wiped from his eyes when he cries.
  14. "You are just such a child, and so the burden of your care and all that you do falls upon Me and is My responsibility as your parent. As you lie in My arms in total peace and trust and faith in My complete care for you, resting peacefully, nothing can trouble you or touch you, for the responsibility and the consequences for it all rests on Me."
   15. "When you're willing to give up the dark and dreary, heavy and burdensome weights of guilt, remorse, and condemnation, and place them in My strong and loving hands, you become like a helium balloon, rising up, up, up, far above the burdens and cares and feelings of darkness and depression and the weights you carry. You're given wings to fly and propel yourself into the beautiful, bright, sunny, clear skies of the future and all of My wonderful promises to you, nevermore to be weighed down by those things that you left behind and entrusted to My hands."
  16. "Do you want to overcome these dark, depressing, repressive, ponderous weights and feelings of guilt and condemnation? Then come over here to Me, to the heavenly side, where there is light and life and freedom and weightlessness from all that the Enemy would like to put on you. Let go of the weights and let them fall off your back. Walk out from under them. Reach out to Me and believe and trust in My power and promises, My love and mercy. Your steps will become lighter with each step you take toward Me, arms outstretched. Pretty soon you'll be flying into My arms and into My world of light, love, peace, comfort, beauty, and freedom from the oppression of the Enemy."
